KARE 11: Two Must-See Summer Movies

Dear readers,
Today, I returned to KARE 11 Saturday, the weekend morning show of Minnesota’s local NBC affiliate, and shared my enthusiasm for two new releases.
First, I encouraged everyone to seek out Boots Riley’s latest, I Love Boosters, before it disappears from theaters. Keke Palmer, Taylour Paige, Naomi Ackie, Lakeith Stanfield, Will Poulter, Don Cheadle, and Demi Moore star in one of my favorites of the year so far. Next, I previewed the new music-centric treat from writer-director John Carney, Power Ballad, starring Paul Rudd and Nick Jonas. It’s now in limited release and expands everywhere on June 5.
