KARE 11 – Fall Movie Recommendations

By Brian Eggert | October 19, 2024

Dear readers,

During my latest appearance on KARE 11, earlier today, I had the chance to share three incredible Fall movie recommendations. If you’re looking for compelling stories to add to your watchlist, keep these films on your radar.

The movies I highlighted include: We Live in Time, a moving, nonchronological romance starring Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield that explores love, loss, and the bittersweet journey in between; Bookworm, an adventurous father-daughter film set in the New Zealand wilderness, featuring Elijah Wood and Nell Fisher in a story that channels the spirit of family movies with a bit of an edge; and finally, Nickel Boys (review coming soon), an adaptation of Colson Whitehead’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, set to release in December, but premiering at the Twin Cities Film Festival next week.

If you missed the segment, be sure to check it out below, and don’t forget to visit the Guest Appearances page for more of my television and podcast appearances.

Happy viewing!

Brian
